Edgartown Wedding at the The Harborside Inn | Caroline & Scott

Caroline & Scott went through Covid postponements but ended up having the most beautiful wedding celebration at the Harbor Side Inn in Edgartown and a second night of dinner & dancing the day after their official wedding. “Martha’s Vineyard is a big one for us, also Kenyon College in Ohio where we met and Brooklyn where we spent our first few years living together." We love to travel, cook, and try new restaurants together." Caroline shared their proposal story. She said, " We went out for dinner at Colonie in Brooklyn Heights, sitting at the Chef Bar so we could watch the cooks as we sat and chatted. After dinner, we walked to the nearby promenade that overlooks lower Manhattan. We had been a few times before throughout the years. At that point, we stopped to look out over the city and reflect on our time in NYC as well as the journeys we'd shared to other places around the world. We never felt alone or out of place because we had each other.” That's when Scott proposed, getting down on one knee and prompting Caroline to cry with joy and surprise. Scott pulled the ring out of his pocket, and as she said yes, he placed the ring onto her finger. After taking a few moments to absorb the shock and linger in the happy moment, “we called loved ones to share the news.”
