During the engagement session at the Cedar Tree Neck Sanctuary with Maureen & Evan I quickly fell in love with them as a couple. They share a warm and caring love that helped make their wedding a truly special experience for which everything came together perfectly. Maureen was such a graceful bride. Her smile was as bright as the sun and eyes shone like the stars in the sky. She loves cooking, traveling calligraphy and trying new restaurants with her husband. Evan is so positive and seems ready to be the best husband. He nearly had enough groomsmen to field a professional sports team, but they were all so close that you felt they were like brothers who would never let him down. Evan loves sports, history and doing anything for and with his lovely bride.

Their wedding took place at the Farm Neck Golf course which is located on Martha's Vineyard. This venue holds a very special place in my heart. I worked their long time ago during my college years as a waitress, saw president Barack Obama playing golf there three times. I also had the privilege to photographed one of the sweetest couples I have worked with so far.

Maureen’s and Evan’s first look was roller coaster ride. The planning and scouting of the golf course to find a perfect backdrop and coordinating with the couple for the first look was the rising action of the journey. We found a beautiful tree looking out over a expansive Sengekontacket that stoked the imagination. Remember that the scary part of your roller coaster can send you for into flips. Hurricane Jose decided to scare us by hanging around all week before the wedding, but the love won out and Jose was gone by the big morning. I felt blessed to have a rain free day to document this amazing wedding.

The entire rest of the night was pure joy, laughter, dancing and a rocking good time with the Sultans of Swing who always play fantastic music.
