Engagement Session in Menemsha & Aquinnah | Martha's Vineyard
Anna and PJ met each other the first day of freshman year, at orientation playing a silly icebreaker game. Then they were in two classes together freshman fall - their first class together was at 9am and second wasn't till 11am , so they would always get breakfast between. All of their classmates thought they were dating! Anna told her best friend that she thought he was cute but was "saving him for senior year." They didn't spend much time together again until senior year, and then they reconnected as more than friends. They ended up in different cities after graduation (Anna in NYC, PJ in DC) but decided to stay together anyway. After a year of long-distance PJ moved up to NYC in the summer of 2013
The Martha's Vineyard is also very special to them, as PJ has been coming up since Thanksgiving 2012. PJ proposed on the dock off Anna's parents' house on Sengey pond. They love spending time on that dock or on the deck of her house, walking the dog in the woods bordering Felix Neck, and also taking the dog for early morning walks on Fuller Beach.
The engagement session took place in Aquinnah and Menemsha Beach. We had so much fun working together and capturing these timeless photographs!
