Martha's Vineyard Engagement Photos at Philbin Beach, Aquinnah | Jenna & Josh

If you ask me my favorite place to photograph engagement sessions on the island, I would say anywhere up the island without any hesitation. I discovered the path to Philbin Beach in Aquinnah, which led to many creative inspirations that I want to share with you. We started our session during the golden hour light and ended with the sunset and documented a few moments during the blue hour, which happens after the sunset.

My goal during this engagement session was to tell the story through light and composition and to highlight the authentic landscape Martha's Vineyard. You can tell where my couple was and who they are through capturing the candid moments and emotions between them. I tried to focus on guiding them versus posing and gave a lot of space to simply be in the present moment by looking at the ocean from the dunes, taking a beach walk, and watching the sunset.
